Distribution Volunteer
Distribution Keeps Us Moving!
The bakers have done their job. Now what? Great question. The distribution team takes all the packaged goods and organizes them into inventory and packs orders for delivery and pickup. We also are in charge of quality control in this room. If you like tasks, lists, spreadsheets, and handling baked goods with care, this is the volunteer position for you.
Tasks may include:
Reaching into a chest freezer for product to fill orders.
Checking invoices to ensure order is filled accurately.
Quality control.
Ensuring labels are secure and accurate on products.
Lifting boxes that weigh 10-20 pounds.
